Spanish Support Group
Building Community, Support, and Hope for Spanish-Speaking Families
Sickle Cell Prodigy's Spanish Support Group was created by Maite Rodriguez & Alexandra Minier to address a critical gap in the sickle cell community: the lack of culturally and linguistically appropriate support for Spanish-speaking patients and care partners navigating gene therapy, stem cell transplantation, and survivorship.

Our goal is to ensure that every family has access to trusted information, meaningful connections, and peer support in their preferred language.

Why This Program Matters
The Spanish Support Group was developed to help close these gaps by creating a safe, welcoming space where participants can:

-
Discuss challenges and successes related to sickle cell disease
-
Receive support before, during, and after curative therapies
-
