Gene Therapy & Sickle Cell Disease Webinar
A Partnership Between Sickle Cell Prodigy & Australian Sickle Cell Advocacy(ASCA)

Community, Awareness, & Advocacy Forum
As transformative therapies such as bone marrow transplantation (BMT) and gene therapy become increasingly visible, patients, caregivers, and communities are seeking clear, honest, and accessible information about their options.
There is a critical gap between the excitement around these therapies and the lived reality of what treatment involves — including eligibility, preparation, recovery, and long-term considerations.
This September, Sickle Cell Prodigy and Australian Sickle Cell Advocacy (ASCA) are partnering together to create this webinar series to address that gap by bringing together patient voices, clinical expertise, and community dialogue to empower informed decision-making.
We invite sickle cell patients, their caregivers, clinicians, and community advocates around the world to join us for this special collaborative session.
